To The Manilow Family,

We are neighbors with your parents, Floyd and Elaine. We have lived in apartment 5E and D for 16 years, Robbie being raised in the building.

We were so saddened to hear of your mother’s passing the other night. I ran into your parents in the parking garage the other night, as I was rushing my puppy to the vet, and your mother was so sweet to ask if Eloise was OK. She always asked about Eloise, being the animal lover she was.

Your mother was one of the sweetest people we have ever met in the building, and she will be so missed by us.

We are so sorry for your loss. Our thoughts are certainly with you and your father, at this time.

Saw the notice in today’s paper and it brought back memories of all the times we chatted when I would go to the office monthly to pay our rent. It was easier for me to pay the rent on my way to work than send it in the mail. We would chat about our pets and I remember her telling me of her big mancoon cat. She was always friendly and will be missed. Mike Crane and I lived at 426 Briar, 7E for 18 years so we knew the family for a long time.
